Wife said the kitchen needed work, so.... new kitchens for everyone! Doubled the size, fixed the layout, lots of granite and a commercial grade ice maker for the coolers. It looks great- hope you think so too.
November 2011 New game room is under construction and will be ready for the 2012 season. This new space will include a home for the fooseball table, darts and an additional refrigerator. Promises to be a great place to hang out- look for photos in January. Thanks to all our wonderful guests who enjoy our home and treat it as we do. Please vist us again when the water comes back up in the spring! June 2010 The new boat house and pier are fantastic! We spent the whole week on the dock just hanging out! Guests are welcome to use the open slip for thier boat. Please don't mess with the DONZI on the lift- that's my baby! Water is up and life is good! See you at the lake.
March 2010 It's been awhile since we brought you any news so, here goes.... We have continued to improve and add to the house and grounds and our latest addition is a new boat house and expanded pier. The covered pier will include a ceiling fan and a convenient boat slip for guests. The cabin has recieved a fresh coat of stain and the landscaping is really getting established. Thanks to everyone who has stayed with us in the past and we look forward to many of you returning again this year. All the best!
July 2008 What a difference a year makes! The south has water! The 2008 season has been great with lots of new folks visiting Camp Herren for the first time this year. Families, fishermen and golfers make up the people who have been enjoying the Lake this year. July is a sell out and everyone seems to like the recent improvements- thanks! All you late season folks book now as we are starting to fill August and Sept. Sydney and I can't wait until we get to go in August.
